Andrew surprised me by coming back from work to take Olivia to her first day of school! He is really the best. He knew it was going to be hard on me!
She told me to take a picture of her while she pretended to walk. She literally walked in place while yelling "Take my 'pitcher' mom!"
It is almost impossible for us to believe that she is old enough to go to school!
Getting ready to walk in! I was sad, but Olivia was so excited she didn't walk, she danced her way in. When we got to the doors the preschool director was there greeting everyone, and she complimented Olivia on the apple on her cute outfit. Olivia put one arm in the air and did a slow twirl so the director could get a full view of her outfit. I have NO idea where she gets this! Ha!
Andrew and I stood in the doorway and watched Olivia for 10 minutes before we finally left. Olivia was not even slightly sad to see us go. In fact, she kissed me goodbye, and told me I could leave as soon as we got there!
I got to spend the rest of the morning and early afternoon giving this sweet boy all my attention!
I picked Olivia up from school, and she told me she had a great day! I think 2 mornings a week will be the perfect amount for both of us this year. I'm praying for a wonderful first school year!
