Valentine's Day 2013

This morning we headed to a fun Valentine's Party for Olivia and all her friends! She was so excited. We of course did a little photo shoot for Daddy before we left :)

We compromised on her outfits, and she wore her "Valentine's Outfit" to church last night, and then she got to wear the dress she wanted to wear today. (I have gotten to the point where I don't give her options anymore. But, I'm not against her feeling pretty as a princess on Valentine's Day:)

I had to make her a "mailbox" for her Valentines. I am not a crafty person, so when my mom told me I had to at least have her name on it, I made this 10 minutes before we left. How did I get none of my sister's craftiness?

As long as this sweet girl liked it! She wasn't sure about giving away the Valentines, since they had bubbles on them, but she understood the concept a little more once we got there and saw everyone was giving Valentines to everyone.

She was the youngest kid there, but thankfully there was a constant line of people available to help her with all the games and activities :) She is one loved little girl.

She loved all the fun Valentine's activities! I am not sure what she will ever do without her Uncle Nate. Those two have a serious sibling relationship.

Olivia's favorite part was decorating cookies! She doesn't actually eat cookies, since she doesn't love sweets, but she sure loves decorating them. Thankfully, her pregnant mommy loves sugar cookies:)

Nana and Livy! She wasn't really trying to get away, it is just the best picture I got :)

It was a bummer to be away from Andrew. Every day is hard, but holidays are definitely the worst. We did our best to make it special, and of course he went above and beyond. I woke up last week to a fun package outside with a new pink laptop!

Olivia and I were both equally as excited about the pink. She kept jumping up and down exclaiming "Pink Puter"!

Yesterday I got a gorgeous bouquet of tulips (my favorite flower), and these chocolate covered berries. He always makes me feel loved and special, even when he is thousands of miles away! I'm so thankful every day for Andrew. We got to Skype this morning while he gave Olivia a pink rose (through me). She was so thrilled! We miss and love our Daddy SO much, but I can't help but be thankful for my sweet family even when we are spread apart. I'm thankful for both of my sweet babies, and for my family who is here to support me and make sure I don't have to spend the day alone. God has blessed me with the sweetest Valentine's this year :)

Livy looks so adorable! We missed having her here (and all of you for that matter), but I'm glad she had such a fun Valentine's party to go to!
