Olivia's Winter One-derland - Part 1

Six days after we moved into our new house we had Olivia's first birthday party! Our theme was Olivia's Winter One-derland, even though it was far from wintery in Texas that day! We have so many wonderful pictures taken by our favorite photographer Ricky Altizer, that I thought I would do two different posts.

We had a sign out front welcoming everyone, mostly so our guests knew it was our house, since no one had ever been there before.

This is Olivia's pre-party attire! I love the half-off sock:)

I bought 12 frames and had one picture from every month of the first year lining either side of the mantle. It was so fun to see how much she had grown!

This was the first food table. I got the pink tree at Wal-Mart for Olivia's room and it turned out to be the perfect centerpiece.

We served chips and salsa or "chipnuts roasting over an open salsa". :)

Olivia and Aunt Suzanne before all of our guests arrived! Suzanne helped me with all the decorations, and let me borrow a ton of pink things to use.

Me and the birthday girl! I can't believe she is actually 1.

I crafted a cheese ball into "Frosty the Snow-woman" and it turned out so adorable!

This picture shows the table we had set up with all of Olivia's favorite foods on it! We served cheese sticks, animal crackers, cheetos, and cheezits (I wonder if she likes cheese, ha!)

Suzanne, Olivia, Katie, and I before the party! Our "family" here in Houston.

I can't believe we actually made it to the first birthday! I love these two.

Olivia and our favorite photographer, Ricky!

We had another table set up for the older kids to frost their own sugar cookies!

Some of the toppings.

The lanterns hanging over the cookie table.

And last, but not least, the cute party girl all ready for her guests to arrive! Tomorrow I will post all the pictures from the actual party. We had so much fun with all of our guests!
